Once I got out onto Owala, I never turned back. The design makes it easy to sip and pour.The hook makes it easy to carry and it doesn’t get in the way when you click it back into place.Straw reaches low so you can sip to the very last drop. Durable water bottle if you have a silicone boot on. I would say this water bottle has a lot of value for the money you spend.
I love this bottle. The fact that I can gulp or sip is fantastic. The bottle does exactly what it was designed to do and the lock works great. If I was searching for a negative it would be that the handle is integral to the lock. This means you cannot carry the bottle by the handle AND have the lid locked. Generally this isn't a problem at all but it is a "slight" limitation of the otherwise flawless design. The color selection is also great. There is a color for everyone.5 Stars, nothing I would fix.Non-AI Summary: Great bottle for sipping OR gulping. Colors for everyone.
I love Owala insulated water bottles. I have multiple Stanley cups but now I use my Owala the most. The function is amazing bc you can turn it up and drink like other water bottles or you can sip on the straw. So best of both worlds in one bottle. My daughter in law got me hooked on them. They keep your drinks cold and they do not sweat. When top is closed there is absolutely no leaking. I love the 32 oz size bc I can fill it up and drink on it all day at work and keep my straw clean and germ free. They also have very cute fun colors and I can carry it in my work bag and no worries about leaking.
If you are still on the hunt for the perfect Emotional Support Water Bottle™️, congrats! You found it!The 32oz is a perfect size (although I also bought the 40 oz for my Emotional Support Iced Tea Bottle™️), the lid is completely leak proof, the mouth is amazing. Like almost the most perfect way to drink out of a water bottle ever. (The only complaint I have with it is the few times I want to drink out of the wide mouth part, I have to tilt the bottle a bit so air can still get in.)I’ve had to learn to be a little more judicious about how much ice I put in because it does stay sooo cold!Since it’s stainless steel, I do suggest getting a silicone bumper bottom thing for it. But, since it’s stainless steel, cleaning it is really easy. Hot water and a bottle brush. Apparently the lid and straw are dishwasher safe, but the finish on the bottle may not hold up in the dishwasher. But, let’s be honest, Emotional Support Water Bottles don’t get washed, so it’s not really a concern for me.I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.
The built in straw is exactly what I needed. The single thing I dislike about every water bottle I own is straws. They have bendable ones that crack over time or I can't use because no air hole or have a permanent bent that keep liquid from getting through or got dirty and stayed dirty. OR I had my own straw that was too long so I couldn't secure the lid or the straw too short I could secure the lid but the straw was below the water and I had to fish it out to use. This one has none of those problems. The locking lid, I carry this bottle in my bag and no leaking or lid popping open. Worth every penny!!! I am disposing of all water bottles I own except this one. I have already purchased a second one for my nephew.
